What if you learned?
- that a key verse in the Bible has been mistranslated and that
- as result people were getting the impression that God placed a curse on all women
- and that they were placed under men’s rule as a second punishment
What if you learned?
- that a true version of God’s 11 Hebrew words in Genesis 3:16 doesn’t say that
- and that God didn’t curse Eve (or Adam) or limit woman in any way
- and that other key passages on women and men should be corrected as well
Dr. Joy Fleming conducted 7 years of research on Genesis 2-3 and we are using her results to “true” the verse through the work of the Tru316 Foundation.
The problem?
In 1611 the King James Version of the Bible accurately translated the first words of Genesis 3:16 with God clearly promising to multiply two different things: (1) “sorrowful toil” in fieldwork and (2) “conception.” Neither of these two things has anything to do with woman’s experience of childbirth at the end of pregnancy.
However modern translations are making it look like God did something different. They make it look like God multiplied only one thing – pain in childbearing. Many people take this to be equivalent to God placing a curse on the woman in Eden and on all women. This is not in line with the 7 years of research conducted by Dr. Joy Fleming at the University of Strasbourg, France.
The Solution?
The Tru316 Project has already begun the work. It was established in 2019 as a volunteer operation. The Eden Podcast already has received 50,000 downloads from 85 countries. The Book of Eden, Genesis 2-3 (125 pages) has been released with heartwarming results.
It is time to organize the Tru316 Foundation as a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation to fund the ministry of the Tru316 Project and to facilitate donor advised funds to like-minded organizations in the U.S, and overseas.
We are praying for a team of donors to join together to teach the true meaning of God’s words to the woman in the Garden of Eden and to see that modern Bible versions true the verse in their publications! Five million dollars are needed. But gifts of any size can be given now to start the work.
You can give today to launch the Tru316 Foundation to God’s glory!
Thanks in advance!
