The key verse of Genesis 3:16 is where God speaks to the woman. People refer to what they think God said in this verse as they read all the rest of Scripture and try to follow what they think God said in Eden.
The problem is that Genesis 3:16 has been mistranslated and misinterpreted. It has been made to look like God cursed Eve and all her daughters. You could say the message of 3:16 has been polluted and this polluted message flows downstream to pollute the rest of God’s message. Can you guess the damage this has caused?
We need to “true” the verse to correspond to the 11 Hebrew words God actually said to the woman. When we do this we find that God didn’t curse Eve (or Adam) or limit woman in any way.
Dr. Joy Fleming spent 7 years digging deep into this passage for her research at the University of Strasbourg, France. Now she and her husband, the Reverend Bruce C. E. Fleming are seeking help to organize the Tru316 Foundation.
